Summer break 🌞
Billing paused for a few weeks
Energy Flux will be taking an extended break over the summer. Billing has been paused with immediate effect, during which time paying subscribers will not be charged for renewals. The archive will still be accessible at www.EnergyFlux.news.
New readers cannot take out paid subscriptions until I un-pause billing (if you intend to subscribe and would like access to the paywalled archive before then, drop me an email).
The period remaining on paid subscriptions will remain frozen until billing is un-paused. So if you currently have six days left until renewal, you will still have six days left when I resume billing.
Wishing all my readers a fantastic (northern hemisphere) summer. I expect to be back at the desk at some point in late August, just in time to take stock before the winter energy crisis grips Europe and the world.

P.S. On the question of the European energy crisis, here are a few articles of interest:

France prepares for Russian gas cut-off, industry switches to fuel oil — Reuters (link #1, link #2)

Have a nice summer break Seb. Looking forward to more great content later in August.
